03How we work

A day with your car in the workshop

It usually comes in in the morning and goes home in the afternoon. If we need to order parts, we’ll tell you when we call.

    You drop it off

    You tell us what you’ve noticed and we put it on the job card, with the mileage.

  2. 10:00

    We call you with the price

    Before we touch anything. If there are two jobs, we tell you which is urgent and which can wait.

  3. You

    You decide

    Yes, no, or just the urgent bit. If we find something else once it’s apart, we call you again.

  4. 18:30

    You collect it

    With an itemised invoice and the old parts, in case you want to see them.

Drop-off Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 9:30.

A local garage, not a chain

The person who takes your keys is the one who fixes the car. Ask why a part needs changing and we’ll explain with the part in hand.
